DMRC Invites Bids for ₹1,373.36 Crore Civil Package on Rithala-Kundli Metro Line.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has invited bids for a ₹1,373.36 crore civil construction package for the Rithala-Kundli corridor under Delhi Metro Phase IV.

The contract, identified as D2C-05, includes the construction of elevated and at-grade viaducts, depot connectivity works, sidings, ramps and 11 metro stations along the upcoming corridor. The project package is among the key civil works contracts planned for the Rithala-Kundli metro extension.

The estimated contract value is ₹1,373.36 crore, including 18% GST. The selected contractor will have a completion period of 36 months. The tender carries a security requirement of ₹1 crore, with the pre-bid meeting scheduled for August 18, 2026. Bids can be submitted between September 7 and September 14, 2026.

Under the scope of work, the contractor will be responsible for the design and construction of elevated viaducts, an at-grade viaduct, sidings, elevated ramps, depot entry and exit lines, and civil works for 10 elevated stations and one at-grade station.

The stations covered under the package include Narela Sector G-8, Narela Sector G-7, Narela Sector G-6, Narela Depot Station (at grade), Narela Anaj Mandi, Narela Sector A-7, Narela Sector A-1, Narela Sector A-4, Narela Sector A-5, Kundli and Nathupur. The works will cover the corridor stretch from Chainage 11,299.093 metres to 26,704.685 metres, excluding architectural finishes and pre-engineered building (PEB) works.

The 26.463 km Rithala-Narela-Nathupur (Kundli) corridor is a key component of Delhi Metro Phase IV and was approved by the Union Cabinet to improve connectivity between Delhi and neighbouring Haryana.

The project has an estimated cost of ₹6,230 crore and will be executed by DMRC through its existing 50:50 Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) involving the Government of India and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

The corridor will extend the Delhi Metro Red Line from Rithala towards Kundli and Nathupur, with 21 stations planned along the route. Once operational, the line is expected to improve connectivity for North Delhi and rapidly developing areas such as Narela, Kundli and Nathupur, reducing travel time between Delhi and Haryana.
