ECIL completes software for Mundra pipeline

Hyderabad: Electronics Corporation of India (ECIL) has supplied and commissioned the Scada technology system for Mundra Delhi Product Pipeline of HPCL.

The Scada Division has designed, tested, installed and commissioned the Scada system for the 1,054-km long multi-product petroleum pipeline project of HPCL from Mundra (Gujarat) to Bahadurgarh (Haryana).

“The Scada system consists of master control station at Mundra and 34 block valve locations and six intermediate pumping terminals and Bahadurgarh as the final receiving terminal,” the lease added.

It also said a total of 41 RTUs are installed and commissioned along the pipeline and hooked up to the master control station at Mundra for remote monitoring and control of various process parameters.

The release said that software is also integrated with proven pipeline application software for leak detection and product batch tracking.
