ECIL to take up security project for Games 2010

New Delhi: The Union Cabinet has approved Electronics Corporation of India's (ECIL) proposal for an Integrated Security System (ISS) at a financial cost of Rs 370 crore for various competition, training and other Commonwealth Games venues.

The security solution will be delivered by March 31, 2010.

It may be mentioned that this is the first time an integrated security system on such a large scale is being implemented in India.
