EndureAir Systems Bags ₹30 Crore to Scale Defence-Grade Heavy-Lift Drone Tech.

EndureAir Systems, an IIT Kanpur-incubated startup developing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and autonomous aerial systems, has secured ₹30 crore under the Government of India’s Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) initiative for its SABAL-200 platform.

The SABAL-200 is a next-generation 200-kg payload-class uncrewed aerial system designed for heavy-lift applications, marking a significant step in scaling India’s indigenous drone capabilities.

According to the company, the funds will be used primarily for research and development, prototype advancement, manufacturing expansion, and strengthening field-testing infrastructure as it moves toward scaling production and deployment.

Speaking to BusinessLine, Abhishek said the investment will directly support the company’s development roadmap. “This ₹30 crore will be primarily used towards R&D and prototype development, as well as to enhance our manufacturing capability,” he said.
