Enviro Infra Engineers Secures Key 69 MW Solar Contracts.

Enviro Infra Engineers Limited (NSE: EIEL, BSE: 544290), a well-known EPC player in India's water and wastewater treatment sector, has made a significant foray into renewable energy by securing two major solar power projects with a combined capacity of 69 MW (AC). This marks a strategic expansion into the green energy sector for the company.

Odisha: 40 MW Solar Power Project Acquisition

Enviro Infra Engineers has been awarded the bid and subsequently received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the acquisition of Vento Power Infra Private Limited from PTC India Financial Services Limited. This move followed a competitive auction process. The project entails developing a 40 MW (AC) grid-connected solar power plant in Odisha's Bolangir District. Power generated from this facility will be sold at a tariff of ₹4.10 per unit for approximately 18 years. The acquisition cost for this project stands at ₹115.61 crore, and it has already achieved its Partial Commercial Operation Date (PCOD).

Maharashtra: 29 MW Solar Power Project Acquisition

The company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary EIE Renewables Private Limited, has also acquired Soltrix Energy Solution Private Limited. Soltrix Energy Solution was previously awarded a 29 MW (AC) solar power project by the Government of Maharashtra via the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited. This comprehensive project includes design, financing, engineering, procurement, construction, operation, and maintenance. It is supported by State Financial Assistance (SFA) of ₹3.20 crore per MW, amounting to an aggregate SFA of ₹92.80 crore, with a tariff-based revenue of ₹0.88 per unit over a 25-year period.
