EPACK Prefab Technologies is undertaking a ₹160 crore capital expenditure programme to expand its manufacturing operations and increase production capacity for building systems, according to coverage published on 2 September 2026.
The expansion includes investments at Ghiloth and Mambattu, alongside a new manufacturing plant in Gujarat. The programme is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to serve industrial and infrastructure projects requiring pre-engineered buildings and associated products.
A second structural steel fabrication line will add 23,600 metric tonnes of annual pre-engineered building capacity. The line is scheduled to become operational in the third quarter of FY2027.
The proposed Gujarat plant will contribute a further 50,000 metric tonnes of annual capacity, with production expected to begin in April 2027. Once the planned additions are operational, EPACK’s total pre-engineered building capacity is expected to exceed 220,000 metric tonnes annually.
The company is also commissioning a continuous sandwich panel production line with an annual capacity of 800,000 square metres. This facility is expected to become operational in Q3 FY2027, expanding its insulated building products offering.
The investments come as pre-engineered building suppliers pursue opportunities in data centres, semiconductor facilities and renewable energy infrastructure. The commissioning dates remain planned milestones, with the programme representing an ongoing expansion reported earlier this month
