Erode-Palani railway line proposal frozen: Minister.

The proposal for a new railway line between Erode and Palani has been frozen due to low operational priority and Tamil Nadu government’s refusal to provide land free of cost and share 50% of construction cost of the project, Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain has informed the Lok Sabha.
