Escorts Kubota Expected to Begin Construction of UP Greenfield Project by Next Fiscal.

Escorts Kubota Ltd. is expected to commence construction of its greenfield project in Uttar Pradesh by the next fiscal year, as the 190-acre land acquisition is likely to be completed by March, the company’s Whole-Time Director & CFO, Bharat Madan, told BusinessLine.

Of the targeted 190 acres, only 15 acres remain to be acquired, with the state government confirming completion by March. The UP government has also provided a 75% subsidy on land, Madan added.

The project was initially planned for Rajasthan, but was shifted to Uttar Pradesh due to the high water requirement of the facility.
