'Expedite natural gas project'.

A.K. Balyan, Petronet LNG Limited MD and CEO, urged the State government as well as industry leaders to help expedite the natural gas distribution project, which was facing inordinate delay. Addressing the valedictory session of annual convention of Kerala Management Association (KMA) recently, he said Kerala had lost precious opportunities in industrial, social and economic spheres due to the poor utilisation of LNG despite the Rs. 5,000-crore terminal having been set up in Kochi.

India needs hi-tech workers and the government should focus more on creating job opportunities to maintain sustainable development.

Many of the available facilities were not being properly utilised, he said.
