Eye-Q Eye Hospitals gets Rs. 60 cr funding.

Eye-Q Super Specialty Eye Hospitals has raised Rs. 60 crore from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Helion Venture Partners and Nexus Venture Partners. Of this, Rs. 34 crore has been invested by IFC.

The company, which had earlier said it aims at achieving revenue of Rs. 400 crore by 2018, is primarily focused on tier-II and III cities in northern States of Haryana, UP, Uttarakhand and Gujarat.

'Eye-Q has provided treatment to over1 million patients till date and will use the funding to expand access to world class, high quality and affordable eye care treatments in India. Eye-Q has a unique combination of very experienced doctors and strong management team and plans to more than double its patient reach,' the company said in a statement.
