FACT Signs MoU with BPCL to Supply Sulphuric Acid.

The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the long-term supply of sulphuric acid from BPCL's upcoming sulphuric acid plant at its Kochi Refinery.

The agreement is aimed at ensuring a reliable supply of sulphuric acid, a key raw material for fertiliser production, to FACT while strengthening collaboration between the two public sector enterprises.

The MoU was signed in the presence of BPCL Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Khanna and FACT Chairman and Managing Director S. Sakthimani.

According to company officials, the partnership is expected to ensure a dependable supply of a critical industrial input, while promoting resource optimisation, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the long-term growth objectives of both organisations.
