Filatex India, Revti Business, and Wastewear Ink MoU for Strategic Collaboration.
Filatex India Ltd., Revti Business Pvt. Ltd., and US-based Wastewear Inc. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly advance sustainable textile manufacturing and circular economy initiatives. The agreement, signed in New Delhi on October 21, 2025, aims to establish a strategic collaboration focused on textile waste recycling, product innovation, and global co-branding.
Under the partnership, Filatex India will process textile feedstock into recycled PET chips and filament yarn while maintaining strict sustainability and quality standards. Revti Business will supply high-quality sorted textile waste and serve as a preferred customer for the recycled materials. Wastewear Inc. will facilitate textile waste imports into India and lead international marketing and co-branding efforts under its “ecosis” yarn brand.
“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to scaling textile recycling infrastructure in India while aligning with global sustainability goals,” said Madhu Sudhan Bhageria, CMD of Filatex India Ltd. Revti Business Director Manish Bagrodia noted that the collaboration would strengthen the circular value chain, while Uddhav Bagrodia, President and Co-Founder of Wastewear Inc., described it as a “pivotal step toward global circularity.”
The MoU outlines key areas of cooperation including structured procurement of high-polyester-content textile waste, collaborative R&D for recycled staple fibre, co-branded marketing initiatives, mutual exclusivity agreements, and joint sustainability advocacy.
The partnership is expected to significantly bolster India’s textile recycling roadmap, reinforcing environmental responsibility and innovation in sustainable materials while enhancing supply chain resilience.
