GAIL and Petron to Explore 500 KTA Bio-Ethylene Plant in India
GAIL (India) Limited and Petron Scientech Inc signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 21, 2024, to explore the development of a 500 KTA bio-ethylene plant in India. The proposed project, which will be based on bio-ethanol, is set to be a 50:50 joint venture between the two companies. They will conduct feasibility studies to evaluate the technical and financial aspects of the project before seeking investment approval from their respective management teams.
