GAIL India Floats Swap Tender for LNG Cargo.

GAIL (India) has issued a swap tender seeking to exchange a U.S.-loaded liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo for one to be delivered in India, according to two industry sources recently.

The state-run gas distributor is offering an LNG cargo for loading on March 10 on a free-on-board (FOB) basis from Cove Point, Maryland. In return, it is looking to procure a cargo on a delivered ex-ship (DES) basis at the Dabhol terminal between March 1 and 7.

The tender is scheduled to close on December 11.
