Godrej Properties Ltd. (GPL), a prominent name in Indian real estate, has announced the acquisition of a 53-acre land parcel in Joka, Kolkata. This new project is expected to offer approximately 1.3 million square feet of saleable area, primarily focused on residential plotted development, with an estimated revenue potential of ₹500 crore.

Strategically situated in the fast-growing micro-market of Joka, the land benefits from proximity to the main city and Diamond Harbour, a popular seaside retreat. Joka has emerged as a thriving residential hub, driven by robust infrastructure development, including Kolkata Metro’s Line 3 and an extensive road network.

The area boasts key landmarks like IIM-Calcutta, improved healthcare facilities, and expanding commercial centers, offering future residents both convenience and quality living.
