Google and Andhra Pradesh Government Partner for Skill Development Training.

The Andhra Pradesh Government has entered into an agreement with Google to launch skill development training programs across schools and colleges in the state.

The partnership, signed by the Andhra Pradesh Real Time Governance Society (APRTGS), aims to drive advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) while fostering innovation in key sectors such as healthcare, sustainability, and digital infrastructure.

“This initiative will equip students with essential AI-based skills and provide training programs for start-ups and traditional industries to adopt AI-driven solutions,” said Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT.

The collaboration will also focus on enhancing the state’s startup ecosystem by offering AI-related training to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Additionally, Google will support the state government in leveraging AI and machine learning (ML) technologies to address challenges in healthcare and environmental sustainability.

Lalitha Ramani, General Manager of Google India, and Suresh Kumar, Secretary of Real Time Governance for Andhra Pradesh, signed the agreement on Thursday, marking a significant step toward integrating cutting-edge technology into the state’s developmental framework.
