Green signal for Nagpur metro.

The Maharashtra Cabinet recently cleared a Rs.8,680-crore metro rail project for Nagpur. The project, expected to take six years for completion, will be implemented through a special purpose vehicle. The Centre and the State will have 20 per cent stake each in the project.

Delhi-Mumbai industrial project

The Cabinet also cleared its stakeholder agreement and grant for the Delhi-Mumbai industrial project.

The corridor is expected to span 1,482 km and permit development of industrial parks, logistics parks, water supply schemes and other infrastructure projects.
