Greenzo Energy to Build Green Hydrogen Facility for Jindal Stainless.
Greenzo Energy India Limited announced today that it has secured a contract from Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) to supply and commission a green hydrogen electrolyzer plant at JSL’s Kalinga Nagar Industrial Complex in Jajpur, Odisha.
The new facility is scheduled to be delivered within six months of the contract signing. It will have an initial annual production capacity of 5,256,000 Nm³ of green hydrogen, or approximately 0.47 KTPA, with the potential to scale up to 1.5 KTPA. The plant's designed capacity is 472,409 kg per year.
JSL, which is India's largest stainless steel manufacturer, plans to use the green hydrogen in its Bright Annealing Line and Bell Furnace processes. This initiative is a key part of the company's efforts to transition toward green steel production and reduce its carbon emissions.
