Grew Solar Bags 550 MW Repeat Order From Leading Power Producer.

GREW Solar has secured a 550 MW solar module supply contract from a leading independent power producer, marking a repeat order that reflects growing confidence in the company’s manufacturing capabilities. The Ahmedabad-based firm announced the development recently.

The order comes at a time when India is accelerating solar capacity additions to meet its clean energy and decarbonisation goals. Founded in 2022, GREW Solar has rapidly scaled up operations and emerged as a notable player in the domestic solar manufacturing space, backed by capacity expansion and a strong focus on quality control.

The repeat mandate underscores the power producer’s satisfaction with GREW Solar’s performance, particularly in terms of product quality and adherence to delivery timelines. Commenting on the development, Chief Executive Officer Vinay Thadani said the order validates the company’s manufacturing strategy as India moves towards energy security under the Viksit Bharat 2047 roadmap.
