GSPCB red flags marina project at Sancoale.

Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) has decided against granting consent to a proposal to set up a marina project named 'Yacht Haven' by Chowgule and company at Sancoale in River Zuari.

GSPCB recently held its 111th board meeting at Panaji. GSPCB chairman Jose Manuel Noronha said 'We have rejected the proposal of Chowgule and Company to establish a marina (dock or basin with moorings and supplies for yachts and small boats) at Sancoale as it is bio-sensitive zone.'
