Gujarat seeks speedy setting up of semiconductor unit at Prantij.

Gujarat Science and Technology Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma has sought the Centre's intervention for speedy implementation of semiconductor wafer fabrication (FAB) manufacturing unit in the state.

During a meeting with Union Communication and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in Delhi recently, Chudasama conveyed Gujarat government's commitment to provide all necessary clearances and support to the project, to be set up at Prantij town in Sabarkantha district.
