Haier India Plans ₹3,500-Crore Investment, Eyes Third Manufacturing Facility.

Consumer durables major Haier Appliance India is preparing an investment of ₹3,500 crore as it plans to set up its third manufacturing facility in the country. The company is currently evaluating potential locations, with final plans expected to be announced next year. Haier India is also targeting revenues of ₹14,500 crore for CY2026.

The announcement came alongside the unveiling of the company’s Gravity AI Series air conditioners at its Greater Noida facility recently.

NS Satish, President of Haier Appliances India, told BusinessLine, “We are looking at setting up our third manufacturing facility in India. The possible locations could be in the southern or western region. We expect to finalise the plans by next year and make investments of ₹3,500 crore in phases for the third facility. This will be funded through internal accruals.”
