Havells India to Boost Cable Production at Alwar Plant with New Investment.

Havells India Limited has announced a further expansion of its annual cable manufacturing capacities at its Alwar facility, citing a surge in demand and a drive for enhanced operational efficiencies. This latest investment of ₹340 crore will add an additional 0.25 lakh km to the plant's capacity, bringing the total annual production of cables at Alwar to 41.45 lakh km.

This decision builds upon an earlier plan to expand the Alwar facility's capacity from 32.9 lakh km to 41.2 lakh km, an investment of ₹375 crore that was slated to be operational by March 2026. With the new commitment, the total enhanced capacity is now expected to be fully operational by September 2026.

The company stated that the additional capital expenditure is aimed at meeting the growing demand for cables and improving operational efficiencies through backward integration and process improvements. Havells India plans to fund this substantial investment through internal accruals.
