HCLTech to Invest ₹14,257 Crore in AI Technology Centre in Odisha.

HCLTech recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Odisha government to establish a global technology centre in Bhubaneswar, committing an investment of ₹14,257 crore to develop and deliver AI-led digital solutions for enterprises worldwide.

The proposed facility will be HCLTech's first AI data centre at the upcoming Odisha Sovereign AI Park and will be developed in partnership with Sarvam. The technology centre is expected to employ around 5,000 people and begin operations by 2028, the company said.

According to HCLTech, the investment is expected to generate both direct and indirect employment while strengthening Odisha's technology talent ecosystem through a focus on next-generation digital skills. The company said it plans to collaborate closely with local educational institutions and the state government through structured initiatives to build a skilled workforce for the future.
