Highway Infrastructure wins ₹80.17-crore NHAI toll collection contract in Tamil Nadu.

Highway Infrastructure Ltd has secured a ₹80.17-crore contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for toll collection operations at a fee plaza on NH-44 in Tamil Nadu.

The company received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from NHAI on August 17, 2026, it said in an announcement.

Under the contract, Highway Infrastructure will serve as the user fee collection agency through the e-quotation/e-tender process for the Palayam Fee Plaza at Km 154+500 of NH-44.

The project covers the Krishnagiri–Thumbipadi section from Km 94+000 to Km 180+000, which is being developed on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis.

The scope also includes the upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks, including replenishment of consumable items.

The contract is valued at ₹80,16,99,930 and has an execution period of 90 days.
