Hinduja Group Announces ₹20,000 Crore Investment in Andhra Pradesh Energy Projects.
The Andhra Pradesh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Hinduja Group for an investment of ₹20,000 crore in the State’s energy sector.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, currently on a visit to London, announced the agreement on X recently. “Delighted to announce the signing of an MoU between the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Hinduja Group, marking a cumulative investment of ₹20,000 crore to accelerate our State’s industrial and clean energy growth,” Naidu said in his post.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Ashok P. Hinduja, Chairman of the Hinduja Group; Prakash Hinduja, Chairman of Hinduja Group Europe; and Vivek Nanda, CEO of Hinduja Investments & Project Services Ltd, according to the Chief Minister.
The investment aims to boost Andhra Pradesh’s energy infrastructure and support the State’s transition toward cleaner and more sustainable power generation.
