HSCL Wins Major Odisha Education Infrastructure Contracts Worth ₹158.95 Crore
Hindustan Steelworks Construction Ltd. (HSCL), a subsidiary of state-owned construction firm NBCC (India) Ltd., has secured four infrastructure development contracts in Odisha with a combined value of ₹158.95 crore, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The orders, received in the normal course of business, will be executed by HSCL under a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) model on a deposit work basis. The projects have been awarded by the District Mineral Foundation (DMF), Keonjhar, and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS).
Under the DMF, Keonjhar, HSCL has secured two projects aimed at strengthening educational infrastructure in the district. These include the development of a Mega Education Complex, valued at ₹70.59 crore, and additional works related to DD University within the same framework, worth ₹17.24 crore.
The company has also received two orders from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan for the development of new academic and administrative facilities in Odisha. The projects include construction management of a new Kendriya Vidyalaya campus in Angul district and another campus in Sambalpur district, with each project valued at ₹35.56 crore.
The latest orders further expand HSCL's presence in the education infrastructure segment and reinforce NBCC's portfolio of project management and construction services across the country.
