ICFAI Incubator and T-Hub Foundation Sign MoU to Support Student Startups.
ICFAI Incubator and T-Hub Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the innovation ecosystem and support technology-driven student startups across India. The agreement aims to foster entrepreneurship by bridging academic research with startup incubation.
The MoU was exchanged at the ICFAI campus on Tuesday by Sujit Jagirdar, Chief Innovation Officer of T-Hub, and L. S. Ganesh, Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education.
“We believe in creating an environment where students and researchers can transform their ideas into scalable businesses. This partnership will harness the pan-India presence of the ICFAI Group, the expertise of its faculty, and the experience of T-Hub in promoting entrepreneurship,” said Ganesh.
Jagirdar highlighted the collaboration’s potential to enhance innovation at higher education institutions. “By bridging the gap between academic research and startup incubation, we aim to create a dynamic pipeline of future-ready entrepreneurs,” he stated.
As part of the agreement, ICFAI faculty will provide mentorship, training, and consultancy on business plans and legal issues. The two organizations will also co-host nationwide entrepreneurship events, facilitate investor meetings, and jointly develop investment opportunities for startups, an ICFAI spokesperson said in a statement.
