IL&FS Engineering and Co receives LoI from Kiratpur Ner Chowk Expressway

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Kiratpur Ner Chowk Expressway (KNCEL), an SPV incorporated by ITNL for the project for a total value of Rs 1436.08 crore.

The project is an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract that involves four laning of Kiratpur Ner Chowk Section of NH-21 in the state of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. The project completion period is 1005 days from commencement date. The total length of the project is 84.375 kms, covering the district of Rupnagar in Punjab, and the districts of Bilaspur and Manali in Himachal Pradesh.

The scope of work includes 67.3 Kms. of road works, minor bridges, 18 numbers of major bridges, 5 numbers of main tunnels including one escape tunnels flyover, pedestrian/cattle underpass, toll plaza, truck lay byes, bus bays, and so on.
