IndianOil and EverEnviro to Form Joint Venture to Boost Biofuels Adoption.

Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with EverEnviro Resource Management to advance the adoption of biofuels across India. The collaboration aims to promote sustainable energy by converting organic waste into Compressed Biogas (CBG), a cleaner, renewable fuel alternative to traditional fossil fuels.

The joint venture will focus on integrating advanced biogas technologies to accelerate the deployment of CBG plants nationwide, helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support India’s low-carbon development goals. This initiative aligns with IndianOil’s broader strategy to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2046 and contributes to India’s national target of Net Zero by 2070.

CBG offers several benefits, including enhancing energy security by reducing reliance on imported fossil fuels and boosting rural economies by creating local employment opportunities. Through this partnership, IndianOil and EverEnviro aim to drive the country’s shift toward cleaner, renewable energy sources.
