Addressing the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) 81st Annual General Meeting and World Air Transport Summit, held in New Delhi, Prime Minister Modi highlighted a series of policy reforms designed to make India an attractive destination for international aviation companies.

"The new Indian Aircraft Act aligns aviation laws with global best practices, ensuring a streamlined regulatory framework, ease of compliance, and a simplified tax structure," PM Modi stated. He emphasized that these reforms present "a significant investment opportunity for major international aviation companies."

The Prime Minister's address underscored India's commitment to fostering a vibrant and globally competitive aviation ecosystem. The country's aviation sector has witnessed remarkable growth in recent years, driven by increasing demand and strategic infrastructure development. The new legislation is expected to further de-risk investments and create a more predictable operating environment for foreign players.
