IndieSemiC to Launch AI Chip Next Year, Aims for 5–10 Million Units in Two Years.
Gujarat-based fabless startup IndieSemiC has announced plans to launch its dual-AI System-on-Chip (SoC) next year, marking a fully India-designed and developed product. The company aims to produce 5–10 million units over the next two years, targeting applications such as surveillance systems, drones, and other high-growth sectors.
Built on the Vega architecture, the AI chip is designed for industries including surveillance, industrial automation, displays, and automotive clusters.
In addition, IndieSemiC is developing two indigenous SoCs tailored for different market segments. The S1 is a single-core SoC intended for agritech solutions, healthcare wearables, consumer electronics, drones, robotics, and motor controllers, reflecting the company’s push to address diverse domestic and international applications.
