Indu Projects bags Rs 50-cr contract from Mahagenco

Hyderabad: Indu Projects Ltd (IPL), the Hyderabad-based infrastructure and real estate developer, has bagged the Rs 505-crore contract of Maharashtra's power generation company Mahagenco's 2 X 500 MW Bhusawal Thermal Power Station plant project in Bhusawal (District Jalgaon), Maharashtra. Indu Projects has been sub-contracted by Tata Projects Ltd for balance of plant works in connection with the expansion of the 2 x 500 MW Bhusawal Thermal Power Station. The company commenced work in December 2007. The first unit of the project is expected to be completed in June 2010 and the second unit in October 2010, according to a company press release. The scheduled completion period of the project contract is 34 months. - Our Bureau
