Infosys Strengthens Presence with Mohali Development Center Expansion.

Infosys has announced the expansion of its Mohali Development Centre (DC), marked by a formal groundbreaking ceremony at the campus, strengthening the company’s presence in North India.

As part of the expansion, the company will construct a new Software Development Block along with supporting infrastructure. The planned addition will have a built-up area of about 3.5 lakh square feet and is expected to accommodate around 3,000 employees. The expansion is aimed at enhancing Infosys’ capacity to design, co-create and deploy AI-led solutions at enterprise scale.

Currently, the Mohali centre employs close to 1,000 professionals and delivers advanced digital services to global clients across sectors such as Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), retail and healthcare.

With the new development, the expanded campus is expected to strengthen the company’s capabilities in cloud, artificial intelligence, application development and digital transformation. The company said the expansion will help it better address the growing needs of global clients and deliver AI-driven value at scale.
