INOXGFL Group has emerged as the successful bidder for the Independent Power Producer (IPP) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) businesses of Wind World India under a resolution process approved by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). The deal is estimated to be valued at around ₹2,800 crore, though the group has not officially disclosed the transaction amount.
The acquisition will be executed through group entities Inox Clean Energy Limited (Inox Clean) and Inox Green Energy Services Limited (Inox Green), further strengthening the conglomerate’s integrated renewable energy platform and expanding its annuity-based revenue streams.
As part of the transaction, Inox Clean — the group’s renewable energy arm focused on developing, owning and operating utility-scale wind, solar and hybrid projects — will acquire Wind World India’s IPP portfolio in a deal estimated at approximately ₹2,200 crore.
Meanwhile, Inox Green, one of India’s leading renewable energy O&M service providers, will take over Wind World India’s O&M business, with the transaction estimated at around ₹550 crore. The acquisition is expected to bolster the group’s operational capabilities and enhance its presence across the renewable energy value chain.
