IREDA and MNRE Ink Pact, Set Ambitious ₹8,200 Crore Revenue Goal.

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) announced on Monday that it has signed a performance-based Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). The agreement outlines strategic and financial targets for the fiscal year 2026.

Under the new MoU, the MNRE has set a revenue from operations target of ₹8,200 crore for IREDA. This follows a strong performance in FY25, where the state-run company surpassed its revenue goal, achieving ₹6,743.32 crore against a target of ₹5,957 crore.

The MoU includes several other key performance metrics, such as Return on Net Worth, Return on Capital Employed, Non-Performing Assets (NPA) to Total Loans, Asset Turnover Ratio, and EBITDA. These targets are designed to measure IREDA's overall operational and financial health as it continues to support renewable energy projects across the country.
