IVRCL surges on new orders worth Rs. 226 crore. Shares of IVRCL were up 6% at Rs 18 after the company announced that it has received fresh orders worth Rs. 226.18 crore.

The Building Division has recieved orders worth Rs. 163.12 crore from the Government of India, Department of Atomic Energy, Civil Engineering Division, Tamilnadu and an order worth Rs. 86.04 lakhs from National Institute of Biomedical Genomics, Kalyani, the company said in a release.

The Water Division has won an order from Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board worth Rs. 62.19 crore and an order worth Rs. 57.50 lakhs from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Hyderabad, the release added.

The stock opened at Rs. 17.80 and touched a high of Rs. 18.25. At 12:50PM, over 3.2 million shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
