Japanese firm Mayewaka keen to invest in AP.

Japan's Mayewaka Manufacturing Company, which provides technological solutions for the food processing sector, has expressed interest in bringing in investments into Andhra Pradesh.

The company's executives met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at his residence recently to discuss the areas of collaboration between the State government and the company.

Yoshiro Tanaka, Chairman of the company, explained that the company can support the State through technological improvements in the food processing sector.

He also informed that the firm has already tied up with 24 potential companies, who are customers of their technology in Japan, for a food park project in AP. The Chief Minister asked the company to identify a potential site near Krishnapatnam port for exports.
