AMPIN Energy Secures Financial Closure for 200MWp Hybrid Project in Rajasthan.
AMPIN Energy Transition announced recently the financial closure of its 200 MWp Solar-Wind Hybrid project in Rajasthan, with financing secured through a green loan from Standard Chartered.
The ₹944 crore (approximately $113 million) project represents a major milestone in AMPIN's drive toward sustainable energy solutions, further expanding its renewable energy portfolio. Once completed, the hybrid plant is expected to generate around 435 million units (MU) of renewable energy annually, enough to power approximately 74,486 households.
The electricity produced will be supplied to the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). AMPIN, a key player in Rajasthan's renewable energy sector, currently operates a 410 MWp solar portfolio in the state, serving both utility and commercial customers.
With this project, AMPIN Energy Transition’s total solar and wind capacity in Rajasthan will rise to 1 gigawatt peak (GWp), solidifying its leadership in utility-scale renewable energy development.
