JDC Recycling plans facility in Mongla

Mongla: An Indian company will set up a plastic industry in the Mongla Export Processing Zone with an investment of $34.725 million. An agreement to this effect was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and the M/s JDC Recycling Pvt Ltd at BEPZA Complex in the city on Wednesday.

AZM Azizur Rahamn, general manager (investment promotion) of BEPZA, and Sumeet Chopra, chairman of M/s JDC Recycling, signed the lease agreement for their respective orgaisations.

This hundred per cent foreign-owned company named M/s JDC Recycling Pvt Ltd will create employment opportunity for 1,022 Bangladeshi and six foreign nationals
