Jindal Stainless Announces ₹41,580 Crore Stainless Steel Project in Raigad
Jindal Stainless Limited has announced a ₹41,580 crore investment to set up a major stainless steel facility in Raigad, Maharashtra. The project is expected to generate around 15,500 jobs and significantly boost the state’s industrial growth.
The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government during the Steel Mahakumbh event, organised by the All India Induction Furnace Association (AIIFA) in Goregaon, Mumbai.
The signing took place in the presence of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Coal and Mines Minister Pralhad Joshi, and State Industries Minister Uday Samant.
The Raigad project will strengthen Jindal Stainless’s manufacturing capabilities and support the growing demand for stainless steel in infrastructure, automotive, and industrial sectors.
