Jindal Stainless Plans ₹900-Crore Investment to Expand Cold Rolling Capacity by FY28.

Jindal Stainless is investing ₹900 crore to expand its cold rolling capacity to meet rising demand from sectors including automotive, appliances and food processing, Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal said.

The investment will increase the company's cold rolling capacity from 2.05 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) to 2.67 MTPA by FY28, Jindal said in the company's annual report for FY26.

The company is also making significant investments to strengthen its downstream capabilities, in addition to expanding its upstream capacity, he said.

The capacity expansion is aimed at enabling Jindal Stainless to cater to growing demand for cold-rolled stainless steel across key end-use industries.
