Jindal Stainless Plans to Finalise Site for ₹40,000-Crore Maharashtra Investment in Two Quarters.
Jindal Stainless is in the process of identifying a suitable site for its proposed ₹40,000-crore stainless steel manufacturing facility in Maharashtra, with clarity on the project expected within the next one or two quarters, CEO Tarun Khulbe said.
“It's taking a bit of time, but we are progressing in that direction,” Khulbe said in response to a question on land acquisition for the proposed project.
The company expects to have greater clarity on the location and other aspects of the project over the next two quarters, following which it will announce its plans, Khulbe said.
The proposed investment is part of Jindal Stainless’ expansion plans to strengthen its manufacturing capacity and meet growing demand for stainless steel.
