Jindal Steel Powers Up Value-Added Production with New Galvanizing Line at Angul.

Jindal Steel has announced the commissioning of its first Continuous Galvanizing Line at its integrated steel complex in Angul, Odisha. This marks a significant expansion in the company’s portfolio of coated steel products.

The new line will produce galvanized and galvalume products, to be marketed under the brands 'Jindal Panther Galvanised' and 'Zinkalume'. These offerings are designed to cater to a diverse range of industries, including appliances, automotive, infrastructure, and construction.

In a statement, Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) highlighted the technical capabilities of the new facility. The continuous galvanizing line can process steel with thicknesses ranging from 0.15 mm to 1.50 mm and widths from 700 mm to 1400 mm. This advanced setup ensures high precision and consistent quality, allowing for a wide variety of applications.
