"Joy E-Bike Establishes New Assembly Line Facility in Deoghar, Jharkhand"
Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited (WIML), a prominent manufacturer of electric two-wheelers branded as 'Joy e-bike' and three-wheelers under the 'Joy e-rik' label in India, has inaugurated its latest assembly line facility for electric two-wheelers in Deoghar, Jharkhand.
The inauguration ceremony, graced by Dr. Nishikant Dubey, Member of Lok Sabha from Godda Constituency, Mr. Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director of WIML, Mr. Alok Jamdar, Vice President-Production of WIML, and members of the new product development team, among other dignitaries, marked the commencement of operations at the new facility.
This new facility, an extension of the existing factory in Vadodara, Gujarat, spans an area of 15,000 sq. ft. It will primarily focus on assembling high and low-speed electric two-wheelers to meet the burgeoning demand in the Eastern and Northern regions of India, along with catering to the export market in Nepal. Additionally, the facility aims to generate employment opportunities and provide specialized training to workers, enhancing their proficiency in operational tasks.
Mr. Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited, expressed his satisfaction at the inauguration, stating, "We are delighted to inaugurate our new assembly line facility in Deoghar, Jharkhand, as part of our commitment to advance electric mobility in India. With this expansion, we anticipate a significant rise in electric two-wheeler sales over the next few years, especially in the Northern and Eastern regions, including Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, and the North-Eastern states."
Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited recently showcased its innovative prowess at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, unveiling the concept of its first hydrogen-powered electric two-wheeler alongside its existing product lineup. The company also celebrated a remarkable milestone by surpassing 100,000 electric two-wheeler sales in India, commemorating the occasion with the rollout of its 100,000th unit, Mihos, from its advanced manufacturing plant in Vadodara.
