JSW Green Mobility Secures 636 Acres for Maharashtra Manufacturing Plant.

JSW Green Mobility, a prominent vehicle manufacturer, has been allocated 636 acres of land in the Bidkin node of AURIC city for its upcoming manufacturing facility. According to officials, the plant is slated to begin production within the next 12 to 18 months.

Following the allocation of 827 acres to Toyota Kirloskar Motors Private Limited, the administration has now allotted land to another vehicle production company in the Bidkin node of AURIC. The Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL) issued the land allotment certificate online on Thursday.

JSW Green Mobility plans to establish an electric car manufacturing unit spread over 546 acres of the allocated land. Additionally, the company will utilize 90 acres for producing commercial vehicles. The total investment in this project is estimated at ₹27,200 crore, which is expected to generate 5,000 direct jobs and 15,000 indirect jobs, as per a statement released on Thursday.

An MITL official informed PTI that the company will initiate its operations soon and aims to commence production within the specified timeline of 12 to 18 months.
