JTEKT India Limited has given the green light for the expansion of its MS-Gear Line following a thorough evaluation. Currently operating at approximately 90% capacity utilization with an existing capacity of around 2.0 million, the company aims to augment its capabilities with an additional capacity of approximately 0.4 million.

The financing for this expansion will be facilitated through a combination of internal accruals and borrowings. This strategic move is geared towards enabling JTEKT India Limited to meet the escalating demand from rapidly expanding Indian OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
