Jupiter Renewables Unveils ₹2,700 Crore Solar Manufacturing Project in Andhra Pradesh.

Jupiter Renewables, a subsidiary of Kolkata-based Jupiter International, is set to invest a significant ₹2,700 crore in Andhra Pradesh to establish a large-scale solar cell manufacturing plant. This marks the third company to commit to substantial solar energy manufacturing operations within the state.

The planned facility, approved by the Andhra Pradesh Industries & Commerce Department, will be located at Rambilli in the Anakapalli district. It will boast a robust capacity, including a 4.8 gigawatt (GW) solar photovoltaic (PV) cell manufacturing unit and a 1.5 GW module manufacturing facility.

The project is slated for development in two phases, with an initial investment of ₹1,504 crore for Phase-1, followed by ₹1,196 crore for Phase-2. According to the official order, this substantial investment is also expected to create significant employment opportunities, with a potential to generate 2,216 jobs.
