Kalpataru Power bags orders worth nearly Rs. 700 crore.

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) recently said it has bagged orders worth nearly Rs. 700 crore, including from overseas.

The orders are in the transmission and infrastructure verticals.

The company has secured a contract worth over Rs. 350 crore from Power Grid Corporation (PGCIL) to supply and erect 765KV double circuit Solapur-Aurangabad transmission line of 140km in Maharashtra.

KPTL has bagged a contract worth Rs. 134 crore for supplying transmission towers to Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia, a company release said.

In the infrastructure verticial, KPTL has won various orders valued at around Rs. 188 crore.

'We continued to expand in international market in African region and also maintained order flow from PGCIL. We have also succeeded in getting traction in infrastructure division with a healthy mix of orders,' KPTL Managing Director Ranjit Singh said.
