Karnataka Gets Major Infra Boost as Gadkari Opens Sigandur Cable Bridge.

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari recently inaugurated India's second-longest cable-stayed Sigandur Bridge in Karnataka, a vital infrastructure project built at an estimated cost of ₹472 crore.

The new bridge is set to significantly improve connectivity and provide easier access for devotees traveling to popular pilgrimage centers such as the Sigandur Chowdeshwari and Kollur Mookambika temples. This fulfills a long-standing demand from local residents who previously relied on ferries for crossing.
